In a press release from his Agu-Uga Palace in the Umuohuru Ancient Kingdom, HRH Eze Bobby Aguocha, Chairman of the Royal Renaissance “The Integrity Group” and Grand Patron, Ezenaebiri, has called on Nollywood actors, especially those of Igbo descent, to prioritize peace and tolerance in their interactions.
Eze Aguocha expressed concern that the ongoing bickering and conflict among Nollywood actors not only harms the industry but also serves as a poor example for younger actors. He emphasized the importance of veteran actors fostering hope and positivity rather than continuing cycles of negativity and discord.
“As leaders and role models in the industry, it is your responsibility to promote peace and unity among yourselves and with others,” Eze Aguocha stated. “You must learn to disagree without being disagreeable and to critique without being hurtful.”
His plea comes at a time when the Nollywood industry faces numerous challenges, including piracy, funding issues, and internal conflicts. The monarch believes that if actors can set aside their differences and collaborate, they can overcome these obstacles and elevate the industry to new heights.

The Royal Renaissance “The Integrity Group” for Royal Fathers is recognized for its efforts in promoting peace, unity, and cultural heritage in the southeastern region of Nigeria. Eze Aguocha’s call to action as their President is seen as a crucial step toward creating a more positive and supportive environment within the Nollywood industry.
As the industry continues to evolve, it is hoped that actors will heed Eze Aguocha’s advice and strive to foster a more peaceful and collaborative atmosphere. By doing so, they can pave the way for a brighter future for themselves and the industry as a whole.
