WThe traditional ruler of Ukwa Nkporo in Ohafia Local Government Area, HRM Ezeogo Mba Nkuma, has described Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, as a promise keeper who fulfils his words with action.
Ezeogo Nkuma made the remark during the commissioning of a brand new, fully furnished block of three classrooms built for Ukwa Nkporo community by Hon. Osonwa.

The traditional ruler, speaking on behalf of his people, expressed deep gratitude and commended the lawmaker as one of the few politicians who match promises with delivery.
The project, which aligns with Hon. Osonwa’s campaign pledges and his commitment to grassroots development, was commissioned in the presence of Ukwa villagers, Labour Party stakeholders, and councillors from different wards.
In his address, Hon. Osonwa reaffirmed his belief in equitable development across the constituency. “Education is the bedrock of community development. I’m glad to hand over this project to Ukwa community today,” he said.
Also speaking, the Leader of Ohafia Legislative Council and Councillor representing Ndi Agbo Ward, Hon. Arua Arua Anyim, thanked the Ukwa community for their support and urged Hon. Osonwa to extend development to the wider Nkporo area, particularly in addressing water supply challenges.

Responding, Hon. Osonwa assured the people that work was already underway. He revealed that a geological survey had confirmed the presence of underground water in Nkporo and that final assessments were ongoing to enable contractors move to site soon.
The commissioning was attended by the Deputy Leader of Ohafia Legislative Council, Hon. Eke Daniel Urum; Hon. Kingsley Ajike Ukariwe (Councillor, Ania Ward); Hon. Uchenna (Councillor, Ohafor Ward); Hon. Anya Anya Anya (Councillor, Etiti Ama Nkporo); Hon. Arua Arua Anyim (Councillor, Ndagbo Ward) and several other stakeholders.
