Dr. Olugu Ukpai, a renowned humanitarian and co-founder CHAMA Mission Ministries (CMM) International, marked a major milestone on August 27, 2025, turning 50 years old. Interestingly, his wife, Pastor Esther Olugu Ukpai, celebrated her birthday just a week earlier on August 20, 2025.

‎The couple’s birthdays are a testament to their shared passion for mission work. Dr. Ukpai expressed gratitude for his life, family, and the gift of his wife, describing her as a “rare gem” and a “silent pillar” that holds their mission together. Pastor Esther underwent a surgical procedure while Dr. Ukpai was away on a mission, but she hid it from him to avoid distracting him from his work.

The organization Co-founded by them has saved over 1,000 lives through life-saving surgeries and has carried out various infrastructural development projects in Nigeria and other African countries.
