Pst Okey Udo, who is currently the running mate of Action Democratic Party Presidential candidate Engr.Yabaji Sani has donated 114 copies of his newly publised book a’ ‘Great nation in Bewilderment’ to the National Library, FCT Chapter.

Udo says the donation was also on behalf of his party, the ADP who’s party logo has a hand holding a book.

He says with the ‘hand holding a book’ as its party logo, ir is believed that development of any nation was organic and it’s embedded on sound educational enhancement cum system.

According to Udo, the books will encourage public enlightenment and a knowledge based economy pointing Nigeria as indeed great.

“A great nation in bewilderment reveals the experiences of Nigerians, their hopes, and aspirations.

“The book explores areas of poverty, lack of education, internet penetration, and security. Other areas include the identity crisis, issues facing young people, and the need for professionals to find their voice within the political space in Nigeria.

‘The authors delved further into the spiraling effects of global struggles like the crisis in Afghanistan, its similarities with the crisis in Iraq and Libya and its impact on the security situation ravaging our dear country Nigeria.

“The coming together of such great minds to illuminate the issues of the ordinary citizens and proffer solutions is the path to a Great Nigerian. It is left to us to work the talk by ensuring Nigeria works for all and the use the issue raised and solutions preferred to guide us in the coming days.”

The author, Pastor Okey Udo, hails from Amaekpu Ohafia in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria.

He is the Managing Director of VOG Global Investment Limited and VOG Global Farms and also the Managing Partner/Consultant of VOG Global Consults and M’Lord Udo Consult Limited.

He has extensive technical and managerial experience spanning over 25 years both in private and public sector organizations.

He has worked and consulted for local and international companies such as Schwarzenberg Trust Service Reg (Liechtenstein/Switzerland), Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Julius Berger PLC, Federal Judicial Service Commission, Petroleum Technology Development Fund, Cubana group, to mention but a few.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Calabar, Calabar, and Master of Science Degree in International Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Udo holds his PhD in Management specializing in Finance, at the prestigious University, Walden University in United State of America. He is a Forensic expert,

A certified Public Accountant and member of many professional bodies namely: Fellow of International Institute of African Scholars, Fellow of American Chartered Certified System Accountants, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Management, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Trustees, and many other professional bodies.

Udo is a strong agent of positive social change and he is a passionate for sound and ethical societal development. His pastoral calling has taken him to many countries of the world persuading men on the path of a better society and economic development.

He is a well-groomed pastor, a member of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), member Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and many other Christian bodies within and outside Nigeria.

Udo is also the founder of Grace Intervention for Triumph (GIFT) Foundation which offers scholarship to students especially the less privilege. He loves Education and offers the privilege to others to acquire it.
