Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi was celebrated across all 36 states in Nigeria on his 64th birthday. The celebration was marked by a series of community service events, dubbed “5 Days of Service,” organized by the “Obidients,” a movement of supporters.
The events showcased the commitment of Peter Obi’s supporters to actionable social welfare. Free medical outreaches were conducted in various locations, including Elekahia Town in Port Harcourt, while food items were distributed to the less privileged in states like Adamawa and Delta.

Empowerment initiatives, such as the distribution of sanitary pads to young girls in Enugu and provision of fuel for tricycles in Kebbi, were also carried out. Additionally, education support initiatives, including the distribution of notebooks in Bauchi, were implemented.
The nationwide celebration underscores Peter Obi’s enduring appeal and the Obidient movement’s dedication to community service and social welfare. The events were marked by a sense of community and solidarity, reflecting Obi’s leadership philosophy of service and humility.
