In a bid to boost educational infrastructure and promote quality learning in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, the Member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa (OKE ABBA 1 of Ohafia), has concluded inspection of the newly completed classroom blocks at Abam High School, Ozu Abam, Arochukwu LGA.

The lawmaker visited the school on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, where he assessed the completed construction of a modern 3-classroom block aimed at creating a more conducive learning environment for students.

The official commissioning of the project is scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025. This development marks a major milestone in Hon. Osonwa’s commitment to advancing education and infrastructural development across the constituency.

According to him, the project is part of his broader vision to provide quality education and equal opportunities for students, especially in rural communities.

“This is more than a building — it’s an investment in the future of our children and a catalyst for educational growth in Abam and beyond,” Hon. Osonwa said during the inspection.

Residents of Ozu Abam and stakeholders in the education sector have lauded the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful.
