They have always seen Dr. Alex Otti as their nemesis. A threat that must be tamed by all means. They are right to see him as that.

They knew that his coming would alter a lot of things. They feared that he might uproot the foundation of mediocrity and end the politics of ignominy that enriched and made them demi gods, at the expense of the state and the people.

He fought their impunity, dared their criminal audacity and ended the hegemony of their hoodlums. The hegemony that buried many people-oriented aspirations and left the people hopeless.

They didn’t just wish him evil, they prayed and executed evil plots against him with atavistic propensity, but that was after he bluntly dismissed their overtures and rejected their offers as an Opposition Leader.

Today, there exist a widow and orphans, courtesy of the assassination attempt on his life in Abuja which left his police orderly dead. There was an uncertainty over the outcome of his suit at the Tribunal, and the vote thieves feared he might be declared the winner, and reasoned that the only guaranteed path to victory and protection of the stolen governorship mandate was to eliminate him. They struck, but Mercy said NO!
Like one enemy of Biafra woke up from his sleep one morning and shouted “The Spirit of Biafra is Pursuing me”, they are being haunted by the spirits of innocent Abia men and women who either suffered or had their lives cut short by men who prospered by entrenching politics of iberiberism.

They abused him, blackmailed him, defamed him and his family and did all kinds of atrocious things to break him psychologically, but the more they tried, the more resilient and determined he became.

They approached a lot of people in his camp and bought them over to their camp and celebrated them like Trophies. There were many of them too numerous to mention, but not even for once did we resort to attacking those people even though they left us in trying times and in questionable circumstances.

In 2015, they sent a highly placed Senior Citizen from Abia to go and woo one of his closest and trusted friends with the offer of lucrative road contracts, as a way of breaking him.
His friend, a billionaire business mogul and oil magnate looked at the errand-boy Senior Citizen from head to toe and said thus:

“Ifele gi emegbuolam. Obu na imaghi na Alex bu ezigbo oyi mu? Unu choro inyemu contract, ndi Abia fa onwelu ego? Asim unu onwele ego? Biko si na bem puo ozugbo “.( I’m ashamed of you. Don’t you know that Alex is my very good friend. You people want to give me contract; do Abia people have money? I ask, do Abia people have money? Please, leave my house immediately).

Make no mistakes about it, they are not angry that Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu has left the PDP, but that he left and joined their nemesis Alex Otti. They believe he might expose some of their atrocious strategies. They believe that he knows their weakness and weak points.
They claim he has no political value, yet they are panicking and attacking him.
Governor Alex Otti had already awarded the Abiriba-Nkporo road reconstruction. Is there a better way of ensuring that your subordinates and allies become valuable in their strongholds?

When Onyebuchi Ememanka resigned from the PDP, their permutation was that he was going to the APC to join forces with imaginary enemies of Governor Alex Otti. They were excited. They wanted Ururu Aja and every other person leaving the PDP to join forces with those who cannot boast of a hundred thousand naira project in Ala Ngwa against an Otti that attracted a beautifully executed 11 kilometre road project in Isialangwa South/North in 2018. The Otti that had built a council Hall, Renovated Churches, Awarded Scholarships, supported business men and women, created jobs and brought developmental projects long before becoming the Governor of Abia State.

But as a confirmed Aba Boy with some touch of street smartness enriched by years of using apiam ways around Umule, Ururuaja gave them a false lead before breaking their polluted hearts.
You wanted Ururuaja kwadara something somewhere to embark on a Journey of the Maggi in the name of going to the APC?
An Ururuaja that’s gladdened by the New Umule road built by the New Abia with glittering Street lights?
An Ururuaja that was wowed by Port Harcourt road and made happy by Ohanku?
An Ururuaja that wants everything around Umule in particular and Osisioma in general, including their Okpekeses to be retrofitted? Okwa unu ahula nu ee…..

Immediately the former CPS announced that he was joining Governor Alex Otti and the LP, they started abusing and calling him names, including betrayer. Odi egwu oo.

They forgot that Ururuaja was one of the very few that expressed joy and happiness when Dr. Otti left the bank to run for Governor, before they coerced and convinced him to support his former Oga. Ururuaja ojikwanu anya oma kpee uka ndi uwe ocha?

Well, thank God we did oppposition and did it very well, so I can comfortably predict that these guys will gasp for breath soon and very soon, because they are doing oppposition with anger, bitterness frustration and high level dishonesty, and therefore have personalised their opposition against Otti at the expense of telling Abians what they are bringing to the the table.
They are blinded by hate and selfishness, therefore even if Governor Otti turns Abia into an eldoraldo, it won’t change anything for them.

It’s good they are visiting their villages snapping and showing us pictures and videos of schools, roads and hospitals that have not been done, that alone is an admittance of failure after solid eight years of irresponsible governance.

We do not claim we have built all the schools, hospitals and roads, but massive transformation is going on in these sectors, to the acknowledgement and appreciation of millions of Abians, and definitely those schools, roads and hospitals that are in a state of dilapidation will definitely receive the New Abia touch of transformation.

The failed Abia oppposition should be reminded that any time they attempt to lay siege on our Governor, the government or our supportive friends and allies including former PDP leaders who have seen the light and decided to join the Governor move the state forward, we will respond fiercely and fearlessly, with candour, garnished with facts and figures.
