Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole, a distinguished old boy of Government College Umuahia, received a courtesy visit from two prominent GCUOBA members, Chief U.K. Eke and Chief Ukaku Ina Obasi, at his Abuja office on September 10, 2025.
During the visit, the duo expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Nkole’s recent donation of furnishing items to the school. They noted that this gesture, though simple, would significantly contribute to the transformational initiatives driven by the Fisher Education Development Trust Fund (FEDT) and GCUOBA. These initiatives aim to create an improved, enabling, and sustainable learning environment for current and future generations of students.

Key Highlights of the Visit:
- Acknowledgment: Nkole had earlier received an acknowledgment letter from the Board Chairman of FEDT, Mazi Uche Orji, appreciating his contribution.
- Appreciation: The visitors expressed warm appreciation for Nkole’s efforts in leadership and service during his time as Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
- Encouragement: They encouraged Nkole to continue championing good governance, accessibility, and the open-door policy that has defined his public service philosophy.
Nkole expressed gratitude for the visit, feeling enthused and uplifted by the words of encouragement and fraternal solidarity. He pledged to remain a pillar of strength to his alma mater and continue to champion positive change wherever duty and destiny call.
