Prof Folasade Ogunsola emerges first female UNILAG VC

Folasade Ogunsola, a Professor of Microbiology, has emerged as the 13th Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG). The scholar makes history, as she becomes the first female VC of the institution established in 1962. Police vow to sanction officer that carried handbag for Atiku’s wife

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) said a police officer attached to Titi Abubakar will be sanctioned for carrying her bag. Long queues resurface at Abuja fueling stations over suspected scarcity

Long queues have resurfaced in Abuja filling states as motorists struggle to purchase Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol. Checks by our reporters showed that most fuel stations were locked while long queues were noticed in retail outlets in Wuse, Gwarimpa, Wuye, and Kubwa expressway on Tuesday.
