Dignitaries congregate for Akeredolu’s service of songs as tributes flow.
On Monday, at the Jogor Centre in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, dignitaries honoured the late Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, with an evening of tributes and a service of songs. During the ceremony, Kayode Fayemi, a former governor of Ekiti State, paid respect to Akeredolu, describing him as the leader protecting the defenceless people of Southwest Nigeria. "His unwavering support for community policing has now received widespread acceptance, extending beyond political boundaries," he declared.
