The Canadian government has relaunched two caregiver immigration programs, the Home Child Care Provider Pilot and the Home Support Worker Pilot, starting January 1, 2024. These 5-year pilot initiatives are designed to welcome qualified caregivers and their families as permanent residents in Canada. According to reports, bandits attacked several towns on Christmas Eve in the Plateau State local government areas of Barkin Ladi and Bokkos, killing over 26 people. It was learned that while 15 people died in a further attack on villages in Barkin Ladi LGA, 11 people perished in Bokkos LGA. It is also said that during the attack at Barkin Ladi, a number of houses were destroyed. According to information obtained by DAILY POST, both instances began at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday.
