Munkaila Ahmadu, who murdered his parents in the Gagarawa local government area of Jigawa state, said he did so because they made blasphemous remarks against the Prophet Mohammed. Ahmadu, a singer and member of the Islamic sect Tijjaniyya, said his parents mocked him and called him crazy and objected to his singing praises to the prophet. ADC Party suspends its presidential candidate for alleged anti-party activities

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has suspended its 2023 presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, for alleged anti-partisan activities. His suspension was contained in a statement issued Saturday by the party’s National Vice President (Politics), Bamidele Ajadi. In the statement, Mr. Ajadi accused Mr. Kachikwu of making “defamatory” statements that contravene ADC’s values. He also accused him of other anti-partisan activities. Terrorists Attack Zamfara Mosque During Juma’at Prayer, Kidnap Several Worshippers

Terrorists on motorcycles attacked a Jum’at mosque on Friday and kidnapped several worshipers in the Zugu community of the Bukkuyum area in Zamfara state. Multiple local sources said that the terrorists did not kill any residents during the attack that lasted more than an hour. State police confirmed the kidnapping but said they cannot confirm the number of those kidnapped.
