The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said President Muhammadu Buhari has approved for Nigeria to take loans. Amaechi stated this during a special 60th Independence Anniversary programme on Channels Television on Thursday. Abia State announces Sept. 28 as date for reopening of schools

The Abia State Government has announced reopening of primary and secondary schools in the State on Monday, 28th September, 2020, to complete the 3rd term of 2019/2020 academic session with one week of revision classes. Bandits kill 2 FRSC officers, abduct 10 others

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the killing of two operatives on Monday by bandits. Ten other personnel were abducted when gunmen attacked their buses en route to the FRSC Academy in Udi, Enugu State. Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem, confirmed the incident in a statement.
