Interesting facts you might not be familiar with about Ossy Nwaka, Mayor of Ikwuano

Abia State,
THE MAN COMRADE OSINACHI NWAKA: A Philanthropic Visionary and Community Builder (VOLUME -1) Indisputable remains the fact that the arrival of Comrd. Osinachi Nwaka as the Transition Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area is apt and long awaited. Speaking from the angle of a son of the soil, I want to state emphatically and without mincing words that, Comrd. Ossy Nwaka is an answered prayer of the people of Ikwuano Local Government Area. As a vibrant youth, Ossy Nwaka is obviously set to perform the long desired overhauling of the entire council. However, in a fraction of time, and just…

Imo, Kogi, Bayelsa Off Season Elections, Why Expect Fairness, Peace, When ‘Snatch It And Run With It’ Is In The Saddle?

I'm beginning to believe that we suffer from gross selective amnesia as a nation. I have read befuddling wistfulness manifest in many commentaries about possible free, fair, and credible polls in Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo. And I wonder who did it. Are you not aware that the morning tells largely what the day will be like? With the electoral larceny of February and March 2023 and the attendant judicial summersaults, tell me who believes in the sanctity and sanity of the electoral process anymore? Who will wait for a sullied, stained, tainted, and corrupt umpire—in this case, Mahmood Yakubu's INEC—to…

The leadership of United Abia Artists and Patriots (UAAP), under the board chairmanship of High Chief Raymond Nkemdirim, has congratulated Honorable Ibe Okwara Osonwa, the member representing the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, on his well-deserved victory at the Court of Appeal, describing it as a victory for democracy and justice. Recall that the Court of Appeal in Lagos overturned the decision of the National Assembly Election Tribunal in Umuahia that declared Daniel Okeke of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner, thereby upholding the choice of the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency at the ballot. In the…

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Insists: Peter Obi’s Pursuit of a New Nigeria Transcends Ethnic Boundaries

News
Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex socio-cultural organization representing the Igbo people, vehemently asserts that the Labour Party's Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, did not contest the 2023 elections solely as an Igbo man or on Igbo platforms. Rather, his candidacy was driven by his vision for a new and prosperous Nigeria, one that transcends ethnic divisions and fosters unity among all Nigerians. Ohanaeze Ndigbo acknowledges Mr. Obi's acceptance of the Supreme Court's judgment against his appeal on the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) verdict, which declared President Tinubu as the rightful winner of the 2023 Presidential elections. This honorable acceptance has…
