Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala gets another International appointment with WHO

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has appointed Nigeria’s former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as Special Envoy for the newly inaugurated Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator. Ngozi is to serve alongside British business executive, Sir Andrew Witty in the same capacity, to mobilise international commitment to the initiative. French President, Emmanuel Macron has announced that the nationwide lockdown imposed over the Coronavirus disease will continue for the next one month. Macron made the announcement while addressing the nation on Monday from the Elysée Palace in Paris.
