Rivers crisis: Fubara says, “I have accepted Tinubu’s peace deal.”
Governor of Rivers State Siminalayi Fubara has announced that he has agreed to the stipulations of the peace agreement mediated by President Bola Tinubu to end the state's protracted political impasse. The confrontation between Fubara and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, his predecessor, preceded the crisis.
