Abia police apprehend 60 criminals, recover 10 cars, 8 tricycles
From October to December 2023, the Abia State Police Command apprehended 60 alleged criminals—58 men and two women. The command's Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka, briefed the press on behalf of the commissioner, saying the command created and implemented excellent administrative and operational initiatives with impressive outcomes. ASP Chinaka said the command reduced armed robbery, abduction, and government property vandalism by arresting several suspects and recovering evidence.
