The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has denied granting an interview to Umuahia-based radio station, Spin FM 95.3, where he allegedly urged Governor Alex Otti to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a press statement, Kalu's Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, described the video as "fake" and "mischievous", stating that the radio station had admitted to not conducting the interview.
