See names, photos of 8 persons declared wanted by DHQs for murder of 17 Soldiers in Delta

The Defence Headquarters has proclaimed eight people wanted for their involvement in the recent death of 17 military personnel in Delta State. The list was released by the military during a briefing in Abuja on Thursday. Those declared wanted include Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (a.k.a Amagben), Akata Malawa David, Sinclear Oliki, Clement Ikolo Ogenerukeywe, Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi. OHAFIATV News recalls that on Wednesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other dignitaries laid to rest the 17 military personnel murdered in the Okuama community in Delta on March 14.

The 17 military personnel who died on March 14 in the Delta village of Okuama have been laid to rest. Following the fulfilment of burial customs, the soldiers' corpses, which arrived at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on Wednesday at approximately 2:26 pm, were consigned to mother death. At the funeral service, dignitaries including President Bola Tinubu and Service Chiefs were present. Troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have conducted a successful operation resulting in the arrest of 271 suspects across Plateau, Bauchi, and Kaduna States. The deputy commander of OPSH, DCP Terzungwe Iyela, reported the significant achievements made by the task force. During the operation, which focused on maintaining peace and security in the region, 79 kidnap victims were rescued from the clutches of criminals.
