For a while now, Ohafia has been in the news for the wrong reasons, especially over the periodical clash between, yet-to-be-identified gun-toting groups operating within the forest of some border communities like Okon-Aku and Amangwu Ohafia. Nigerian-born Amanda Azubuike now Brigadier General in US Army

A senior officer in the United States Army, Amanda Azubuike, has been promoted to Brigadier General rank. Amanda, whose father and mother hail from Nigeria and Zimbabwe, serves at a military base in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Nigerian Army to conduct Exercise Still Water in, Lagos Ogun

The Nigerian Army, on Monday, said it’s set to conduct an operation codenamed Exercise Stillwater, from 12 October – 23 December 2022 in Lagos and Ogun States. It advised residents of the states not to panic during the period as it would be conducted jointly with sister services, para-military, and other security agencies. Last 23 victims of train attack released by Terrorists.

Terrorists on Wednesday released the 23 remaining victims of the Kaduna train attack. The hostages were freed at about 4 pm on Wednesday. The terrorists attacked the AK-9 Abuja-Kaduna train passengers on March 28, 2022. The terrorists planted explosive devices along the rail track and when the Abuja-Kaduna bound AK-9 passenger train approached the point, the device exploded, causing the train to derail, leading to the death of eight passengers.
