FCTA approves funds for community policing in Abuja over Insecurity

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has approved the sum of N500million for community policing in Abuja as part of efforts to curb insecurity. The funds will provide the logistics support for the Federal Government scheme in communities in the 8,000 square kilometers of the nation’s capital. Kidnappers collect N9m, kill victim, ransom bearer in Adamawa

Kidnappers of a village head in Adamawa State have killed the village head and a relative sent to deliver ransom for his release. The kidnappers first abducted the village head of Bengo in the Fufore Local Government Area, Sallau Manu, and demanded ransom, following which a relative: Joram Bengo, a lecturer with the Federal College of Education (FCE) Yola, took N2 million to them. Terrorists on Wednesday released the 23 remaining victims of the Kaduna train attack. The hostages were freed at about 4 pm on Wednesday. The terrorists attacked the AK-9 Abuja-Kaduna train passengers on March 28, 2022. The terrorists planted explosive devices along the rail track and when the Abuja-Kaduna bound AK-9 passenger train approached the point, the device exploded, causing the train to derail, leading to the death of eight passengers. Zamfara: NAF neutralizes scores of bandits in the forest

Two Nigeria Air Force (NAF) fighter jets have neutralized scores of bandits believed to be members of a notorious bandits’ kingpin, Bello Turji in Zamfara forest.
