Igbo Cities Will Not Protest Against Tinubu To Be Sacrificed; Security, Kanu’s Release Our Priority – Ohanaeze Ndigbo

As Nigerians prepare for Nationwide Protests against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to express their frustrations over the harsh economic conditions and rising prices of essential commodities and petroleum products, OHANAEZE NDIGBO, the apex igbo socio-cultural organization, has taken a firm stance on the upcoming protests scheduled from August 1st-10th, 2024.   Drawing from the painful history of past riots and protests in Nigeria, such as the 17th April 1978 ALI MUST GO Protests, the 24th May 1989 ANTI-SAP RIOTS, the 1993 June 12 protests, the 2nd-14th January 2012 OCCUPY NIGERIA protests, and the 20th October 2020 END SARS protests, which resulted…

FG’s Withdrawal of Miyetti Allah Leader’s Terrorism Charges Dishonours New National Anthem

To put it bluntly, I am against the Federal Government of Nigeria's decision to drop the three-count terrorist allegation the Defence Intelligence Agency had filed against Alhaji Bello Bodejo through the office of the Attorney General of the Federation. In light of this, he was prosecuted and tried in the Nigerian Federal High Court division. The judge…

This legal attack was a sneaky part of Buhari's "Fulanization agenda," which was cleverly planned by his cronies with the help of Northern powerbrokers, especially the Northern Governors. Working in secret, they gave the COALITION OF NORTHERN GROUPS the covert support and organisational help they needed to carry out their…

Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja has struck out a suit instituted by a Coalition of Northern Groups seeking the exit of Igbos in the South East out of Nigeria. The suit by the group of elders and politicians from the North, led by Nastura Shariff, Balarabe Rufa’i, Abdul-Aziz Sulaiman and Aminu Adam was thrown out by the Judge following the persistent absence of the plaintiffs in court to establish their case. When the matter came up, none of the plaintiffs was in court and they were not represented by lawyers. Justice Ekwo, after going…

Why South East Is Quiet: Josef Onoh Replies Usman,  Giving 20 Reasons.

Former Spokesman of President Bola Tinubu in the South East, Dr. Josef Onoh has stated that the region has restrained itself from the isolated hardship protests across the country because Nigeria has refused to accord the South East its due status as an integral part of the country, but had rather imposed hardship on the region in the past 54 years. Onoh, who is presently the Chairman of Forum of Former Members of Enugu State House of Assembly (FOF-MENHA) and a former Governorship Aspirant in the State, stated that the rest of the regions in the country should not expect…
