Ex-APC aspirant endorses Obi for president over Muslim-Muslim ticket

A former presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress at the 2019 elections, Charles Udeogaranya, has thrown his weight behind the presidential ambition of Labour Party flagbearer, Peter Obi. Udeogaranya, who affirmed his position in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, said the Muslim-Muslim ticket posture of his ex-party was a clear sign of an Islamisation agenda and despotic government. LP unveils Presidential Campaign Council members, says 15m votes secure

The Labour Party on Wednesday, unveiled 1,234 members of its Presidential Campaign Council, with Assistant Inspector General of Police (retd.), Mohammed Zarewa, as chairman. While former spokesperson of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Doyin Okupe, was named Director-General of the Labour Party campaign organization, Clement Ojukwu and Yunusa Tanko were named secretary and spokesperson of the PCC respectively. Supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi have commenced their rallies in major cities in the country. The LP candidate supporters known as ‘Obidients’ converged at strategic places in Lagos, Kaduna, Abia, Edo, amongst other states in Nigeria.
