A coalition of supporters and stakeholders of Labour Party, (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, grounded Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, on Saturday as they embarked on one million-man march in the state. The crowd, which marched from Tombia Junction en route the Mbiama Yenagoa road and terminated at the Ox-bow lake, were with placards bearing various inscriptions. Zamfara: NAF neutralizes scores of bandits in the forest

Two Nigeria Air Force (NAF) fighter jets have neutralized scores of bandits believed to be members of a notorious bandits’ kingpin, Bello Turji in Zamfara forest. According to a source, the bandits were neutralized during a ‘surprise raid’ by the air troops of Operation Forest Sanity in Zamfara State. The surprise attack of the military troops was carried out by two Nigerian Air Force, NAF, fighter jets following credible intelligence. Emotions were betrayed this week as the Lagos State government auctioned vehicles that were forfeited. At least 134 vehicles confiscated for various traffic offences were up for sale.
