Bandits kill soldier, kidnap foreign national in Kaduna community

Suspected gunmen Friday, stormed a farm in Anchau village of Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Wednesday, killing a soldier who was detailed to provide security to staff members in the company. A source disclosed that after killing the security personnel, they abducted two staff of the company, a Zimbabwean national. Four Catholic reverends freed by kidnappers

Four Catholic reverends abducted Sunday along Okigwe-Umulolo Road in the Okigwe Local Government Area IMO state have been released. The Reverend Sisters are members of the Sisters of Jesus El Salvador Generelate, a religious group of the Catholic Church in Port Harcourt, capital of the Rivers, south-south of Nigeria. They were identified as Johannes Nwodo, Christabel Echemazu, Liberata Mbamalu and Benita Agu. They were attacked and kidnapped while on their way to attend a thanksgiving service for another Reverend Sister in the area. Sad: Four Catholic Reverend Sisters kidnapped in Imo

Gunmen wreaking havoc in parts of the southeast have abducted four Reverend sisters of the Catholic Church in Imo State. ASUU Strike: PFN explains why Buhari govt should pay lecturers

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to resolve the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
