The Premium Times’ article above referenced is simply an unabashed distortion of public record aimed at supporting predetermined conclusions of the Premium Times’ journalist. The article falsely claims that the Supreme Court of Nigeria in its May 8, 2020 judgment ordered that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu be retried. However, on the contrary, the Supreme Court did not make any such order. The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said President Muhammadu Buhari has approved for Nigeria to take loans. Bandits kill 2 FRSC officers, abduct 10 others

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the killing of two operatives on Monday by bandits. Ten other personnel were abducted when gunmen attacked their buses en route to the FRSC Academy in Udi, Enugu State. Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem, confirmed the incident in a statement.
