Tinubu to make Nationwide broadcast on June 12 Democracy Day

In commemoration of the 2023 Democracy Day, President Bola Tinubu will make a nationwide broadcast on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 7 am. A statement issued on Sunday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information, State House, enjoinedtelevision, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast. This should be the first official nationwide broadcast to Nigerians by President Tinubu since he assumed office on May 29, 2023.

President Bola Tinubu has signed the Electricity Act 2023 into law according to sources within the presidential villa. The new law replaces the Electricity and Power Sector Reform Act of 2005 and removes the monopoly in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity at the National level, to empower States, companies and individuals to generate, transmit and distribute electricity. Tinubu Signs Bill Raising Judges’ Retirement Age Into Law
