I Shall Query What Goes On In The States, I Shall Also Demand Responsible And Responsive Leadership At The Centre.

Column, News, Opinion, PoliticsEconomy, Next Level, Nigeria, Nwaokobia Jnr, Opinion, Politics

Since the #ENDBADGOVERNANCE protestation, I have been inundated with requests, and besieged to lead a group of NGOs in proactive advocacy action to and across the States of the Federation. The mission is to assess, access and call out the States that are not delivering democracy dividends to their people. And to hail, applaud and encourage the States that are doing good to continue to do so. Will this new challenge stop the punches on those at the Centre, absolutely not. Yes, whilst we continue to ask for the Restructuring of this dysfunctional enterprise ditto pushing through with the call…

Amb. Dr. Osita Offor “Ikenga Gburugburu” Cautions Deputy Speaker, Kalu: “Don’t Distract Otti with Talks of APC, 2027”

Abia State, Amos Oge Kalu, News, Opinion, PoliticsAbia State, Next Level, Nigeria, Politics

The Ikenga Gburugburu of Ohafia Ancient Kingdom and President of United Abia Artists and Patriots (UAAP) feels compelled to address the recent utterances of Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, which threaten the fabric of our democracy. We urge him to desist from making undemocratic statements, as Nigeria is not a one-party state. We reject the notion that every governor must come from the APC simply because the party holds power at the center. This idea contradicts democratic principles and the rule of law. There is no law in Nigeria mandating governors to come from a particular party. The APC's…

These were the words of President Bola Tinubu in a broadcast to the nation on the now-suspended #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests. Among other things, the protests have highlighted the plight of Nigeria's forgotten poor, who are not just passive bystanders but active voices demanding change. The brief nature of this outcry finds its flow in the poor’s ability to sustain their demands and hold their…

Chikwe Udensi’s Involvement in Aro Ezeship Dispute Raises Questions About Motivations

Abia State, Amos Oge Kalu, Metro, News, Opinion, PoliticsAbia State, Metro, Nigeria, Opinion, Politics

In a brazen display of political opportunism, Chikwe Udensi has inserted himself into the ongoing Aro Ezeship dispute, despite having no legitimate connection to the royal family or the kingmakers, Nde Okennachi. His blatant interference is a clear attempt to exploit the situation for his own 2027 governorship ambitions. Udensi's audacity is staggering, considering he did not grow up in Aro and has no intimate knowledge of the Omenali Aro traditions he claims to champion. His recent public statements are riddled with falsehoods, demonstrating a reckless disregard for the truth. It is evident that Udensi's true motive is to undermine…
