Ondo State Governor Suspends Local Council Caretaker Committees Following Court Order.

In response to a court order, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has suspended recently appointed caretaker committees for local government and council development areas. The suspension was communicated in a letter from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, signed by Adewale Alonge on behalf of the permanent secretary. Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed concern over politicians assuming roles in the caretaker committees despite the court order preventing their inauguration.
