Open grazing ban: There’ll be no peace – Fulani group warns Southern govs

A Fulani group, Gan Allah Fulani Development Association, GAFDAN, has warned against the resolution of Southern governors to ban open grazing. GAFDAN said a ban on open grazing would lead to a breakdown of peace between Northerners and Southerners. Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has mocked Nigerians after the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) directed all broadcast stations in the country to deactivate their Twitter accounts on Monday The agency directed television and radio stations to de-install twitter handles and stop using it as a user-generated content (UGC) for news and programmes presentation, especially phone-in.
