Lagos State Govt. Reopens Chrisland Schools Amidst Investigation.

The Lagos State Government has ordered the reopening of all Chrisland Schools shut down over controversies that surrounded an immoral act engaged in by some students of the school. This was contained in a press statement by the Lagos State Commissioner of Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, early Saturday morning. The state government had shut down all Chrisland Schools in Lagos State on April 18, 2022. Court sentences man to 15 years in prison for raping 17-year-old girl in Lagos

An Ikeja Special Offences Court has sentenced one Francis Apai, a driver to 15 years imprisonment for raping his employer’s 17-year-old daughter in Lagos State. The Justice, Sherifat Solebo, sentenced Apai, after finding him guilty of a one-count charge of sexual assault by penetration. “The defendant, Francis Apai, is hereby sentenced to 15 years imprisonment without an option of fine,” the judge said.
