Kidnappers of a village head in Adamawa State have killed the village head and a relative sent to deliver ransom for his release. The kidnappers first abducted the village head of Bengo in the Fufore Local Government Area, Sallau Manu, and demanded ransom, following which a relative: Joram Bengo, a lecturer with the Federal College of Education (FCE) Yola, took N2 million to them. Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Vincent Ogbulafor has passed on. Ogbulafor died on Thursday in Canada at the age of 73 years. Confirming his death, a family member who wished to be anonymous said Ogbulafor died of an undisclosed illness. The deceased was the PDP’s first National Secretary. He hails from Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government of Abia State.
