The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the South East, Augustine Ehiemere, has strongly criticized Uche Ekwunife, the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, over her recent comments about Governor Charles Soludo and his family.

Ehiemere condemned Ekwunife for reportedly making derogatory remarks, including allegations that Governor Soludo suffers from mouth and body odour. He also refuted claims attributed to Ekwunife suggesting that Soludo’s wife had been unfaithful. In a statement issued to journalists in Abia State on Tuesday, the APGA leader described the accusations as baseless and malicious, aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the governor and his family.
He further urged Ekwunife to issue a public apology, not only to Governor Soludo and his wife but also to the people of Anambra State, whom he believes were insulted by the remarks. Ehiemere expressed disappointment that such unfounded allegations could come from a high-ranking political figure, calling for more responsible and respectful political engagement in the state.
