A chieftain of the Integrity Voters of Nigeria in Bende Local Government Area, Dr. Johnson Egwuonwu Truth, has thrown his weight behind the candidacy of Pascal Karibe Ojigwe of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2027 election for Bende Federal Constituency.
Egwuonwu, in a message endorsing the NDC candidate, described Karibe Ojigwe as a dependable and people-oriented leader whose commitment to the welfare of his constituents has earned him the trust and confidence of the people.

According to him, Karibe is a man whose “trust never fails,” noting that his approach to leadership is driven by genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people rather than personal interest.
He described the NDC candidate as a compassionate leader with a strong understanding of the challenges confronting ordinary citizens, particularly youths, women and men who require opportunities to improve their livelihoods.
Egwuonwu further praised Karibe for what he described as his unifying disposition, saying that the Bende Federal Constituency requires a representative who can bring people together irrespective of their differences.
He said Karibe’s vision is centred on ensuring that families can put food on their tables, while creating opportunities for youths, women and men to become economically productive and self-reliant.
The endorsement comes as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum across Bende Federal Constituency, with candidates and supporters intensifying grassroots engagements.
Egwuonwu urged the people of Bende to support Karibe Ojigwe under the NDC, while also linking the congressional campaign to the broader movement for the emergence of Mr. Peter Obi as President of Nigeria in 2027.
He called on voters to see the election as an opportunity to support what he described as a new political direction anchored on competence, integrity, people-centred leadership and economic empowerment.
Emphasising his position, Egwuonwu declared:
“Vote for Pascal Karibe Ojigwe in NDC. Vote Obi, vote Karibe, vote NDC in Bende Federal Constituency.”
He signed the endorsement as Dr. Johnson Egwuonwu Truth, Integrity Voters of Nigeria, Bende LGA.
The statement adds to the growing political conversations around the 2027 race in Bende Federal Constituency, as the NDC continues to mobilise support for its candidates at both the national and constituency levels.
