The OTTIMANIA LEGACY MOVEMENT has taken a major step towards strengthening its organisational structure and expanding its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections, with the appointment of principal officers to pilot the affairs of the movement across Abia State and beyond.
The decisions were reached at a strategic meeting of the Board of Trustees and Conveners of the movement held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Emeka Omeruo Government Lodge.

The meeting, chaired by High Chief Ray Nkemdirim, Chairman of Flo-FM, focused extensively on the effective take-off and expansion of the movement at the state, senatorial, local government, ward and polling-unit levels, as well as the establishment of representatives across strategic states and locations nationwide.
As part of efforts to establish a strong and functional administrative structure, the Chairman of Masters Suite Hotel, Umuahia, Chief Uzor Ekworonmadu, was appointed Director-General of the movement, while Dr. Uduma Nnate of AttNews was appointed Executive Secretary.
Other principal appointments include Prof. Nzeakor O. Nzeakor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture and Research Fellow at the University of South Africa, who was appointed Director of Finance.
Chief Leon Ibeka of the Abia State Diaspora Commission was also appointed Head, Diaspora Contact and Mobilisation, with a mandate to coordinate the movement’s engagement with Abians and supporters in the diaspora.
The newly appointed principal officers were given a one-week deadline to conclude the process of appointing other state officers, local government coordinators in collaboration with the respective LG Mayors, as well as ward and polling-unit officers.
The development is expected to provide the movement with a more coordinated and grassroots-oriented structure as it intensifies its mobilisation and advocacy ahead of the 2027 elections.
Also present at the meeting was Ambassador Osita Offor, popularly known as De-Ultimate Commander, President and Convener of the OTTIMANIA LEGACY MOVEMENT.
Others included Engr. Henry Okoroafor, MD/CEO of Henken International Co. Ltd and Co-Convener of the movement; Mazi Sunny Afurobi, Mayor of Umunneochi; Chime Okwuokenyie, a financial consultant; Engr. Ogbonna Uche; Arc. Chima Bright; and other stakeholders.
Hon. Obi Aguocha also joined the meeting virtually.
The leadership said the appointments and ongoing restructuring are aimed at building a disciplined, coordinated and effective grassroots network capable of taking the movement’s message to communities, wards, polling units and strategic locations across Nigeria as the 2027 political season approaches.
