The Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN) Edo State Chapter recently held a significant expanded meeting, bringing together newly inaugurated executives and key stakeholders to strategize on achieving the Renewed Hope Agenda in 2027. This gathering underscored the chapter’s commitment to collective action and collaborative efforts in driving progress in Edo State.

During the meeting, National Director Ethics, Rules, and Protocol, Comr. Stanley Okpugie, extended commendations to the Edo State Chapter for their unwavering dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda. This gesture not only highlighted the national leadership’s appreciation for the chapter’s efforts but also reinforced the importance of unity and cooperation within the organization.

A pivotal aspect of the discussion centered on the crucial role of diaspora support in bolstering the chapter’s initiatives. Comr. Okpugie emphasized the need for Edo indigens in the diaspora to lend their support, stressing that collective action would be instrumental in realizing the group’s objectives. Furthermore, the chapter reached out to High Chief Dion Osaghie, requesting his assistance in mobilizing Edo indigens in the diaspora. This initiative aims to harness the collective energy and resources of the diaspora community to amplify support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also directed the new leadership to embark on a spirited drive to produce LGAs executives that will enable BBIGN to trickle down to the grassroots, stating that with the backing of key stakeholders, including national leadership and diaspora communities, the Edo State Chapter of BBIGN iwill ne well-positioned to drive meaningful progress in the state. As the chapter embarks on this journey, it remains committed to working tirelessly towards achieving the Renewed Hope Agenda in 2027, thereby contributing to the realization of a better Nigeria.
