The former Abia State Governor said, “Abia North senate seat is not in contest with anybody. I am not contesting with anybody. They should all wait till I finish before they come out. Which Senate are they going to, and what are they going to do that I am not doing? I am sincere with the people of Abia North, so they should all wait.”

The statement, which has sparked intense political discussion across the zone, is seen as a direct message to prominent figures rumored to be nursing senatorial ambitions — including Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha (Bourdex), former Deputy Governor Rt.
