Ohafia, Abia State – Hon. Emmanuel Agwu Ukpong, Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, has emphasized the need for synergy among party leaders and members to drive grassroots presence and consolidate progress made so far in the lead-up to the 2027 elections.
In a statement, the pragmatic mobilizer stressed that a concerted effort is required to create more awareness of the mission of ADC, which he described as “the only party with determination to unseat misgovernance and enthrone merit to restore the confidence of the people in the system.”

Hon. Ukpong called on leaders at all levels, especially stakeholders from Ohafia Local Government, to “leave no stone unturned” in efforts to sensitize voters in rural areas, noting that “getting their PVC is the first step toward victory in 2027.”
He praised the Abia State ADC Chairman, Don Norman Obinna, for his quality leadership that has made ADC “the preferred party for all progressive-minded Abians.” Comrade Ukpong also commended the national leadership of ADC for their patriotism in the fight to rescue Nigeria, stating that “the Ohafia part of the party, albeit Abia state, will do their best to ensure victory for the future of the Nigerian nation.”
