It was an atmosphere of gratitude, joy and heartfelt worship as Hon. Ibe joined Chief James, popularly known as Ike Abam, and his family to celebrate a thanksgiving ceremony in honour of Mrs. James, who miraculously survived a chronic cancer ailment.

The thanksgiving service was organised to give thanks to God for preserving the life of Mrs. James after a prolonged battle with cancer, a condition medical experts had reportedly described as critical, with just about a 12 percent chance of survival. Against all odds, Mrs. James pulled through, a testimony that drew family members, friends, associates and well-wishers from far and near.

The event attracted high-profile dignitaries from across the country, including the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, who graced the occasion in solidarity with the family. Also in attendance were celebrated music stars Phyno, Flavour, Timaya, Kcee, gospel powerhouses Chioma Jesus and Chinyere Udoma, as well as notable political figures such as Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, among many others.

Hon. Ibe, while celebrating with the family, described the occasion as a powerful reminder of God’s mercy and the importance of faith, prayers and unity in times of trials. He congratulated Chief James and his household, noting that the survival of Mrs. James is not only a personal victory for the family but also a source of hope for many battling life-threatening illnesses.

The thanksgiving ceremony was marked by intense praise and worship, emotional testimonies, and words of encouragement, as speakers and clerics emphasized gratitude to God for life and healing.
