Amid the ongoing crisis within the Abia State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), a leading stakeholder of the party, Bishop Prof. Emeka Nwankpa, has called for calm, dialogue, and unity among party members.
As a critical stakeholder who has been part of the ADC coalition arrangements from the very beginning, Bishop Prof. Nwankpa reaffirmed his unwavering and irrevocable commitment to the growth and stability of the party, not only in Abia State but also at the national level. He recalled that from the inception of the coalition, he worked hand in hand with key leaders of the alliance —leaders who today constitute the national leadership of the ADC, towards building a strong, credible, and people-centred political platform.

He emphasised that internal disagreements, if left unresolved, could undermine the collective vision and aspirations of the party, as well as weaken its capacity to present a united and formidable front to the electorate.
He therefore appealed to all critical stakeholders to place the overall interest of the ADC above personal or sectional considerations.
According to him, this is the time for party leaders and members to come together, bury their differences, sheathe their swords, and embrace sincere and constructive dialogue aimed at resolving the issues currently rocking the party in Abia State.
Bishop Prof. Nwankpa stressed that peace, unity, and mutual respect remain the strongest foundations upon which the ADC can build a credible, people-oriented, and winning political platform for the future.
