Today marks yet another powerful demonstration of purposeful leadership and responsive governance as the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE handed over a fully furnished 4-bedroom bungalow and officially gifted to Mr. Chijioke Ibem.

This life-changing gesture is made in commemoration of the Birthday of His Excellency, the Executive Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR Which comes up on the 18th of February 20026. While this stands as more than a celebration — it is a symbol of solidarity with the Government’s unwavering commitment to care for the welfare of its citizens.

The Deputy Governor expressed that he had made this promise since inception of office, to always celebrate His principal in a Grand Style by Gifting Houses to people. Recall that the Deputy Governor has been consistently fulfilling this promise since 2024, this makes the 3rd time he is gifting fully completed and furnished house to beneficiaries in celebration of the Birthday of His Principal, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.

At a time when leadership is often measured by words, this administration continues to be measured by impact. The gifting of a fully furnished home is not just about bricks and mortar; it is about restoring dignity, strengthening families, and reaffirming that governance must directly touch lives at the grassroots.

In addition, the Deputy Governor also handed over an Ultra Modern Solar Powered Borehole and toilet facility to people of AMOBA Compound in Amaekpu Ohafia. This gesture aligns strategically with the Government’s bold policy to eradicate open defecation. Access to proper sanitation is not a luxury — it is a fundamental human right. By investing in hygienic infrastructure, the administration reinforces its commitment to public health, environmental sustainability, and community development.

This initiative sends a clear political message:
