The leadership of the Abia North Youth Movement, Aba Branch, led by its Chairman, Hon. Chukwu Eni, has pledged its support for the 2027 senatorial ambition of Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole.
The commitment was made when Hon. Uko Nkole honoured the invitation extended to him by the leadership of the movement during their meeting at Grandlotto World Hotel, Ehi Road, Aba, where discussions centred on the 2027 elections and the need for credible leadership in Abia North.
The group also expressed its readiness to mobilise support and votes for the political movement associated with Peter Obi and Kwankwaso, as well as for Uko Nkole’s senatorial project.
The youth leaders said their support was driven by the need for experienced and development-focused representation capable of effectively articulating the interests of Abia North at the National Assembly.
They described Nkole as a strong fit for the Abia North Senatorial race, particularly given his previous experience in federal representation and his understanding of the development challenges confronting the Senatorial District.
The meeting further provided an opportunity for the youth leaders to discuss strategies for grassroots mobilisation and greater youth participation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The leadership of the movement reaffirmed its commitment to working with like-minded stakeholders to build strong grassroots support for its preferred candidates ahead of the polls.
