Abuja, Nigeria – In a swift response to circulating rumors, former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has assured the public that he is alive and in excellent health.
The rumors, which began to circulate on social media, claimed that Obiano had passed away. However, the former governor took to his official Facebook page to personally debunk the false reports.
“I’m alive, hale, hearty, and in excellent health,” Obiano wrote, putting an end to the speculation.
This confirmation was further corroborated by his former Commissioner for Information, C. Don Adinuba, and other officials, who stated that Obiano is currently residing in Houston, United States.
Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo also weighed in on the matter, describing the death rumors as “wicked and irresponsible”.
The public is advised to disregard the false reports and take note that Willie Obiano is indeed alive and well.
