Ohafia and Abia North Senate: Winning Elections Requires Strategy, Balance, Equity

Abia State, Column, Opinion, Politics
Politics is not built on entitlement; elections are won through strategic planning, grassroots acceptance, political calculation, and the ability to defeat an incumbent. Any political party serious about reclaiming or retaining the Abia North Senatorial seat in 2027 must approach the contest with realism and a winning formula, not sentiment alone.Politics Ohafia remains one of the most politically influential blocs in Abia North and has consistently produced credible leaders with strong political structures. My Decision To Offer An Alternative Is Based On The Need For Greater Performance And Faster Development – Chief Eric Opah

Abia State, Column, News, Opinion,
Politics and governance should never be driven by bitterness and hatred. Leadership must always be assessed based on the realities facing the people at every point in time. At different moments, we acknowledged and commended the visible efforts of the present administration where necessary because responsible opposition must be objective and truthful. Commendation for good actions should never be mistaken for permanent political endorsement. However, governance is not judged merely by intentions or media narratives, but by the actual impact on the lives of the people. The expectations of Abians today go beyond explanations, comparisons with the past, and endless…

The Paradigm Of Performance: Why Dr. Martina Ononiwu Remains APC’s Strategic Choice For Victory

Abia State, Amos Oge Kalu, Column, News, Opinion, Politics, , ,
Dr. Martina Amarachi Ononiwu represents a sophisticated evolution in the APC’s leadership recruitment strategy, moving the party away from the diminishing returns of political seniority toward a model built on verifiable competence and measurable impact. By dismantling the long-held myth that proximity to power automatically translates into the ability to wield it effectively, she offers the Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency a candidate who sees leadership as a responsibility of service rather than a hereditary entitlement. Her candidacy directly addresses the “impact gap” left by career politicians, positioning the APC as a party that prioritizes merit, innovation, and delivery…

Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor “De Ultimate Commander” (Ikenga Gburugburu of Ohafia Ancient Kingdom), has applauded the leadership of the Labour Party for what he described as a bold, honorable and well-deserved recognition of the outstanding leadership and transformational governance style of Governor Alex Chioma Otti OFR.
