The Chairman, of Ohafia Local Government Area, Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe has directed the immediate ban of all vigilante outfits in the local government stressing that anyone found with dangerous weapons at night would be arrested by law enforcement agencies. The directive is coming on the heels of the present security situation which has left some communities at loggerheads with the military at14 Brigade Ohafia. Abuja: FCTA reviews security, assures residents of safety

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has reassured residents of the safety of their lives and property. A statement on Friday by the Director of Information, Muhammad Sule, said the FCT Security Committee met on Thursday. The government assured that adequate security arrangements have been made to sustain the state of law and order. The committee said everything possible is being done to checkmate the activities of criminally minded persons. AEDC announces fresh blackout in Abuja

Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), has announced that there will be power interruption in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) starting from Friday, 25th to Saturday, 26th of November 2022. AEDC, in a public notice signed by its management, noted that the interruption would enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to carry out maintenance exercises at Suleja – Katampe 132kv transmission line from 7 am to 6 pm daily. Female manager, husband allegedly Kidnaps employer, kills him after collecting N15m

A woman, Okereke Olufunmilayo, the Manager at a building materials store, has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and killing his employer, Otunba Abayomi Ajayi Smith, the Director of Rolak Hotel Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. Olufunmilayo was said to have perpetrated the act with the aid of her husband, Larry Adebayo Adewumi, and one Adebowale Sanni. According to a DalyPost report seen by OHAFIATV News, the hotelier was kidnapped on September 28, 2020, around about 7:30 am, at Anifowose Estate Igbeba, Ijebu-Ode by some gunmen.
