Adamu Garba, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that Algeria had chosen to provide the Niger Republic with free electricity. According to Naija News, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) turned off the country's electricity supply. Results for the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) have been made public by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). On Monday, the examination body announced the results.
