The Minority Leader in the Nigerian Senate, Mr. Enyinnaya Abaribe has said that in a hypothetical referendum for Biafra, he would vote yes. Court sentences man to 15 years in prison for raping 17-year-old girl in Lagos

An Ikeja Special Offences Court has sentenced one Francis Apai, a driver to 15 years imprisonment for raping his employer’s 17-year-old daughter in Lagos State. The Justice, Sherifat Solebo, sentenced Apai, after finding him guilty of a one-count charge of sexual assault by penetration. “The defendant, Francis Apai, is hereby sentenced to 15 years imprisonment without an option of fine,” the judge said. Herdsmen kill Nollywood actor in Kwara

A Nollywood actor identified simply as “Juwon” has been killed by suspected herdsmen along Ogbomoso/Ilorin Expressway, the Nation reports. The herdsmen reportedly attacked motorists, including some Nollywood actors going to shoot a film at the Otte area of the expressway on Monday.
