Director of Abia Fire Service expresses concerns over increase in fire incidents in the state

Arua Nnanna, the Chief Fire Officer of the Abia State Fire Service and the State Controller has voiced concerns about the frequent fire outbreaks in the state, claiming that multiple properties have been damaged. One 8-year-old survives South African bus disaster that killed 46 pilgrims.

About 45 passengers in South Africa lost their lives in a bus tragedy on Thursday. About 300 kilometres north of Johannesburg in the province of Northeastern Limpopo bus slid off a bridge and caught fire after it slammed through a barrier of a bridge. According to the BBC, only an eight-year-old child with numerous injuries survived the disaster.
