ISWAP Kills 8 Boko Haram in Borno rival clash

Nigerian Army, EFCC agree to fight terrorism financing

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Army have agreed to tackle terrorism financing. EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, expressed the readiness of the body to partner with the Army on intelligence sharing and capacity building. Bawa made the pledge while addressing officers of the Nigerian Army School of Artillery in Kachia, Kaduna State. ISWAP bury 26 terrorists killed in military bombardments in Borno

After sustained aerial bombardments and elimination of terrorists, surviving fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) have buried 26 members in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State, northeast Nigeria. Judge jails commercial motorcyclist for life for raping 9-year-old girl

An Ado-Ekiti High Court on Wednesday sentenced a 31-year-old commercial motorcyclist, Ojo Adebayo, to life in prison for raping a nine-year-old girl. The defendant was indicted on a charge of desecration before Judge Olalekan Olatawura in March.
