COVID-19: Adamawa registers 103 new infections, six deaths

COVID-19 infections have continued to spread in Nigeria, as the country recorded 285 new infections between September 6 and 7. the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported Thursday on its Facebook page that the northeastern state of Adamawa recorded 103 cases and a backlog of six deaths from November 11, 2021, to February 14. The most recent NCDC COVID-19 data gives a strong indication that some states are still lagging behind in efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
